Pride in Moray – R-evolution for Good  to be the official Charity Partner!

R-evolution for Good has agreed to be the official charity partner of Pride in Moray to assist the group with bringing their vision for Pride in Moray 2022 to fruition.  The group have been working hard for a number of months planning the sequence of events leading up to the main PRIDE event in Elgin on 3rd September 2022. The group are not yet a charity in their own right and have chosen this year to partner with a local charity that lives and breathes the ethos of the group.  We were just delighted at R-evolution for Good to be the charity they chose to work alongside them in their transformative work for people in Moray.

To assist the group with their quest to deliver their events which means they will need to fundraise we have agreed to deliver a workshop on Gender, Sexuality & Pronouns and 50% of all profits will be donated to PRIDE in Moray.  The workshop covers subjects such as what is Gender?, Gender identity, gender expression, gender attraction and sexuality as well as covering the use of pronouns to support peoples choices.

 

The workshop will be delivered online on Tuesday 12th April 2022 from 7pm-9pm on MS teams and can be booked by clicking the link and heading to eventbrite to secure your place.

We will support the group in organising and putting in place their 4 initial events in Forres, Aberlour, Lossiemouth and Buckie/Cullen leading up to the event on 3rd September in Elgin city centre.

Its really exciting to see PRIDE coming to Moray at last and we look forward to seeing how things progress as the group get the fundraising and planning underway.

We are just really proud and are honoured to be part of their quest to bring PRIDE to Moray!

Who is this training for?
This qualification aims to prepare learners for employment, or to support a current position within a low-risk role, where there is an element of food handling. This could include bar workers, waiting staff, health care workers, kitchen porters and stock/store room staff.

Food Safety - Level 4

Who is this qualification for?
The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in a food or drink manufacturing/catering/retail environment role, or to support a role in the workplace.
The qualification is intended for those whose job requires them to have some responsibility for food safety. Learners are likely to have management responsibilities for an operational team.

Duration
60 hours, of which 40 are recommended as guided learning hours.

Topics covered
This qualification covers the subject of food hygiene at a suitable depth to ensure learners have a thorough knowledge of hazards and controls; its focus is on the importance of developing, implementing and monitoring food safety procedures.

Assessment Method
This qualification is assessed by multiple-choice and written examination.
