R-evolution for Good was recently successful in securing an essential Moray Council & European Social Fund grant investment of a whopping £177,408.00 to deliver a project challenging Poverty in Moray. The will work closely with people experiencing poverty to improve their financial situation using a progression coaching model to help people make change.
The funds will allow the charity to offer intensive one to one life coaching to parents who are struggling financially to make ends meet and deal with the practical aspect of facing with their finances and taking charge of their life.
The organisation works alongside Moray School Bank who are currently working with over 400 families in Moray who are struggling to provide all the items they need. The funding has allowed them to recruit 4 new progression coaches who are already working with 21 families in Moray to make change and have committed to successfully work with at least 60 people across the lifetime of the project to help them step out of poverty.
Founder and Development Manager, Debi said ‘I am just delighted to have secured the funding, it is making a huge difference to families and it is very early days. The funding is until March 2023 and we aim to use the time to evidence that the life coaching model is a huge success and truly helps families in an empowering and dignified way, helping them to take responsibility and make transformational change for good.
The project is underway and is accepting referrals, which can be made through the website on the support services page. One of the team will be in touch with the family where they will meet to complete an initial assessment and discuss the support offered. People will then be allocated to a coach and they will meet with their coach on a regular basis to set goals and transform their situation. To find out more please make contact with the team, they would be delighted to tell you all about the project and even arrange to come and talk to your team!
