I was delighted to take part and complete the 2 day ‘Life Coaching Skills’ Course delivered by Debi and Brian in October 2019. During the course we were trained in basic aspect of coaching, what it means to coach someone and the different key approaches available.
The course was really well structured, with a great deal of opportunity to look at examples of coaching as a process and reviewing different situations where coaching could be useful.
I really enjoyed the way we were able to explore the content of the course in small groups, sometimes in pairs and being able to work closely with the other delegates.
The course is taught in a really practical way, without hundreds of slides, giving lots of positive examples to assist with learning. They made sure that everything was explained in a way that everyone could understand sharing many tips and tools to make it easier.
We were able to put the training into practice and were able to use the many tools we were taught and give and receive feedback to assist our learning. We were given a certificate at the end of the course and were able to take away the course materials.
I really hope to be able to participate in the next level of coaching to be able to build on the knowledge I have gained so far.
